Kitaro owner and executive chef John Kitaro will introduce Japanese style cooking while the class tastes Pork Gyo Za.  Then chef John will demonstrate how to cut fish.  Next, we will flex our fingers and break out the sushi-rolling mats as chef John teaches us how to craft artful Nigiri and Maki. We'll try our hands at making 3Nigiri (Tuna, Salmon, Super White Tuna) and one signature maki (California Sunset). After which we'll get to learn how to eat Sushi properly with chopsticks and enjoy the fruits of our labor.  Once we've finished with our sublime sushi, we'll savor some sweets with Japanese mochi ice cream, while the chef conducts a casual Q&A to answer most of our fish and food related questions.   You will be able to bring home new sushi-making skills and a souvenir rolling mat to end the class.
